Wisdom Wednesday

Hey You!

It's Wednesday , and that means it's time for some wise words :) Let's begin !

In life , we all go through struggles and we sometimes get overwhelmed & out of control when we don't know  which way to go. When you're in that kind of situation , you usually get frustrated and don't want to listen to God, so you decide to make plans of your own. Warning : don't do that.  Even in good times , some of us still choose to go our own way instead of God's way. God's way is the best way ! They say "follow your heart" , but that's dangerous. Your heart is based on emotions and it changes a whole lot , meaning you're going to change where you want to go all the time and you're just going to be a basket full of confusion. Most of the time , when  your confused and your heart is changing emotions , you're probably going to wind up going down the wrong path .Therefore your mind is wiser than your heart. You know right from wrong in your mind, but sometimes we choose not to listen and do what we want to do. When your heart is wandering off to where you want to go (the wrong way) and your mind is trying to tell you "no! come over here ! you know you're doing wrong!" What do you think you should do ?  Go straight to God and pray for direction. Pray for his will to be done in your life and ask him to lead you every step of the way , I promise if  you ask him that , he will surely do so. My point here is , No matter what , always listen to what God tells you before you listen to anything or anyone else. Follow his footsteps and not someone else's . Never try to be someone your not and always follow the best role model you can , which is Christ. Let him take you down the right path.   It's ALWAYS safe that way ! So when you're stuck at the crossroads , choose the narrow path . Choose the path that God is inviting you to .  Here's the scripture for the day :

"A man's heart plans his way , but The Lord directs his steps"
